Condition Report

A mid 20th century platinum emerald and diamond three-stone ring. The rectangular-shape emerald, with old-cut diamond sides, to the plain shoulders and band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.25cts, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 3.3gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Some surface wear and scratches in keeping with age. Nicks to the outside of the back of the band. Evidence of resizing. Emerald green, moderate to good colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Inclusions are surface reaching. Emerald in fair to good condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Diamonds bright and fairly well matched. One diamond with a small inclusion located towards the girdle, may be partially covered by a claw, good condition with minor abrasion and some nibbles to the girdle. One diamond with dark scattered inclusions and a chip to the crown facets near the girdle, fair condition with chips and nibbles to the girdle. Ring size I1/2.
